Wow, thanks so very much for that info. That was very important for me because I do not have anything to test this on currently, but very interested for future consideration, plus for informing others later on.
I think their text that uses “must be connected to the Internet” was misleading, as that is common for registration, but I was really worried that meant the data would be transferred over the Internet. It makes sense not to if it is not needed. I still wonder if it needs an Internet connection each time it starts though. In your case, since you did the registration, it might not have done another connection. It would be interesting to see if it does at least once briefly the next time you start it. The good thing is that it is looking more promising, and I hope the company can make this work as advertised. I also understand that since the program looks brand new, I can understand that they might have to jump some unforeseen hurdles initially.
