[@Gary] When I exited and then restarted the program after registering it no attempt was made to access the Internet, and there’s no obvious reason it would need to if the export-then-import mechanism was used. I’m skeptical that it can track down (and then adequately massage) all the installation information which would be necessary to make programs that take pains to prohibit promiscuous replication of single-machine licenses work after such a transfer, but in more common cases hope that it will do a decent job.
