A driver install was blocked by my win8.1 for being unsigned, so it was not installed during install of software. Was a .sys meant for 32bit Library as i recall. So …. . AND it “forgot” it’s ohne name choosing “Group”/Dir to install shortcuts in startmenu, when i wanted it in my “Sound” programs group (having over 200 (free) programs installed, you need some way of finding and choosing among them), that’s so… annoying and low-price of install :) After installing main program, this comes up : Now the system installs the virtual device ‘AV Virtual Audio Device’ . Under this window, Windows security asks REALLY ? You wanna do THIS ? And asks me to have confidence in AVSOFT CORP. Hm…. well … okay then, install.
Icon is there on my destop, double-click and registration comes up. Fill in, restart program, all’s fine, and i have an ekko on my (PC)sound :)
Seams to be working, … but very green and small interface, so i’m guesstimating steep learning curve.
Auto update are enabled in settings, so remember to check that !!!
Sent a female voice via my Stereomix (as mic) to the program loaded Boy (under “For female Input Voice”) and …. chaos of ekko and feedback. …. it clearly works ;) But I need more male voices (soundfiles) and some playing around to find out how. But clearly, fun to be had with this “thing”.
