[@Mr.Dave] “Game Booster” is NOT a feature of Kerish Doctor, but Kerish Doctor will recommend what services you can turn off and turn them off for you – “Game Boosters” also aim to speed up video and audio cards, the video effort may be inappropriate for music editing, but the audio overclocking may help is your system can tolerate it, plus “Game Boosters” offer to update drivers to current, but check the web chat groups to see if others using your program have solutions you may not have thought about – you’re nto editing from an attached drive, but only from an internal drive, right? Can you switch to or add an SSD for cache and data IO input output??
Troubleshooting non-responsive computers, and programs like music editing is a challenge, such as, did it used to be okay ( what changed ? ), or was it never okay ( poorly tuned computer or under-powered or under-resourced computer ), turning off anything not needed is a personal criteria, such as turn off antimalware ( I have NONE working in ANY computer, ever, I browse smart, and always check a download at VirusTotal ), have you asked the program maker for help, is the drive defragmented and the cache files locked at max and min the same, and defragmented, can you test and use a USB drive for additional cache, can you upgrade the RAM to 16 GB or more, and so on.
Kerish Doctor will help maintain, but will only appear to speed up if the computer was compromised, the result is a return to original performance, nto a true speed up from original performance.
Tell us more, or check dedicated chat groups for your program.
