@Sam… I got this last October when SOS offered it. The offer was, as far as I can tell, identical for the same program version. After installing, the “About” function said I could update the program free for 1 year, but it’s a lifetime license to use whatever you have at the end of the year. Very generous offer! Don’t know if it will be the same this time around, I may try after doing a backup. Can anyone else verify this?
As for Efficcess, an odd name but a very nice program. I like that Search starts out looking in whatever mode you’re working in (events, diary, notes, password manager, etc.) but you can quickly set it for Global Search. Lots of helpful features.
