Registration worked fine for me, with one little quirk.
When I pasted the code from the clip board into the key window the activation button stayed grey.
I had to use their button for copy from clipboard before the activation button would work for the key.
Be sure to read the note that the one through the shareware download is the one to grab and not off their site.
