[@Mr.Dave] I gave Flashpaste a try. Found it will let me create a simple “macro” that can open a web page or folder or file/program. And it lets me nest folders within folders in its menu structure. This may be a good alternative to the Start menu in Windows 11! For example, I can have folders set up like this:
1. Programs…
   1. Games…
   2. Music…
      1. Practice & Lessons…
         1. Band In A Box
         2. Best Practice
         3. Chords & Scales
         4. Groove Box
         5. Guitar Pro 8
         6. MuseScore 3
         7. Phrase Trainer 2
         8. Piano Teacher 200
         9. Riff Station
         10. TrueFire
      2. Record, Mix, Master…
         1. Amplitube
         2. Bias FX
         3. Guitar Rig 6
         4. Midinouse
         5. Mixcraft Studio 9
         6. Waveform 12.5
      3. Standalone Plugins…
         1. Amps…
         2. Drums & Percussion…
         3. Orchestral…
         4. Piano/Organ…
         5. Synthesizers…
         6. Others…
      3. License/Product Managers…
   3. Office…
   4. System & Security…
2. Documents & Folders…
So, in only a few keypresses I can get right to what I want. This is only a small sample of all my programs. Windows 11 Start menu doesn’t allow nested folders so it takes too long to scroll around & find things, especially if I can’t think of the name.
