Giveaway of the day at Shareware-on-sale. I used the provided code to activate it. I selected AMD CPU hardware acceleration. I tried an image. It seemed a bit slow loading, but acceptable. I tried a 2-hour video on enhance, fast setting again. Again, it says AMD acceleration is in use. Currently, it is processing at 1.43 frames per second and est. The time to complete is 21 hrs 13 min.
This does not impress me much. I’m going to let it run to completion, just to see, but I do not expect I will use it on anything but short videos from my phone. I suspect I will use the image portion more frequently.
I have an 8 CPU 16 thread AMD Ryzen7 5700U pc & 32GB ram, 512gb SSD main drive & win 11 24h2 release build 26100.2161. CPU use is about 15%.
