I’ve retained a version of this for a long time, even though I seldom use it . . . but I think it must be better than JDownloader, which has never worked for me, always beginning a download but then very quickly stalling out with no further activity. Some of its previous annoying behavior may have been tamed by checkbox disable in Settings. However, it still tries to grab every torrent that it sees — another thing I’d like to disable. For torrents, I much prefer using offline, 3rd.-party fetch services like Linksnappy or Bitport.io. (Subscriptions required, but worth it in my estimation.) Wait however long it may take — could be a week in some cases — then log back in there at your convenience to retrieve the items. This also gets you much more insulated from prying eyes, since for many ISPs torrent activity is a serious Red Flag.
