[@Frank Scott] if you have backups made using one of the supported cloud storage providers and don’t have a local client for that same provider and account so there is no enumerable file system interface to the backup files then yes the backups will be protected against ransomware encryption. If you use a local drive as backup destination then no those won’t be protected from ransomware encryption. This is “similar” to aomei cbackup and backupper pro combined with a lifetime no updates license.
