Well, with no reply (things have been much quieter around here since the changes—used to be super-helpful and active) I decided to give it a spin, and it does all that I wanted, so thumbs up. Speaking of which, the up and down votes system still seems very misleading. This piece of software has less than 2/3 positive votes, which would ordinarily be an automatic pass for me. But since I was familiar with older versions, I thought I’d give it a try, and am quite pleased so far. So why all the negative votes? Would be so much more helpful if everyone would just indicate, even one sentence, why they like or dislike a piece of software. I suspect many of the down votes are not really thoughtful critiques but just folks indicating that they’re not interested, which is very misleading. What do you think?
