I give this a try, it’s not bad but has a lot of room for improvement.
I also wanted to mention, I got the giveaway for Heimdal Pro which is also offered on this site and could not install this software with “Traffic Filtering” turned on in Heimdal Pro, it would exit the program with “Internal Error” with Traffic Filtering turned on in Heimdal Pro, I suspect that was because it wasn’t letting it contact for registration. So I had to temporarily turn that off to get the program to install. Thought I would mention this for anyone else who might have this problem.
I wanted to make some suggestions for some things that I believe would make this program much better.
1 – It would be nice if it had a whitelist option for individual cookies instead of a one click delete all cookies options, this is important because if you delete all the cookies there are some sites cookies you don’t want to delete because you don’t want to have to login again.
2 – The permanent delete file option is nice, but it would be even better if a right click context menu option to delete individual files without having to open the program was added.
3 – A scheduling system to make it easy to have this program run automatically at a specific time, although I see it has an option in setting to run the program at startup. So I am left wondering if there aren’t some command line options to where you can add this in task scheduler if you wanted to run it at a specific time?
4 – More information about the uninstaller, is it a basic uninstaller like the one in Windows? If so, it would be nice to see them incorporate a registry scan for specifics of the program being uninstalled after it is uninstalled to find leftovers, with the option to un-select each individual item. Or even better add a tracing option when installing programs to completely remove them later if wanted or needed.
All in all, like I said, it’s not bad in my opinion, it has a lot of room for improvement. And this is a really generous offer by the maker of this software, as stated in the description :
“This is a 2-computer lifetime license, for commercial or noncommercial use, You get free updates, You get free tech support”. But of course it has to be installed while the giveaway is still active and cannot be installed and registered later. So for those reasons I will keep it to get the updates and see any future changes made by the makers of this. It has a lot of potential in my opinion.
