First I had to unblock a setting in my host file just to get the download .
Once I was able to download it .
I registered at the Movavi site.
The key they sent didn’t work & I got this message :
” InformationActivation errorCheck your activation key. Please make sure that it iscompatible with your version of the program and try again. Ifyou continue to see this error, contact support [email protected] ”
I have contacted them . So far their instructions are:
“You are trying to activate the wrong program or version. Please download the program you have purchased here: http://www.movavi.com/downloads-all.html ”
The download from sharewareonsale is MovaviVideoEditorSESetup.exe
The download from the Movavi link is MovaviVideoEditorSetupO.exe
No SE
So they should be slightly different versions.
I have had this cause a key to quit working on similar software .
This is probably a “trial” version & the key will work for now.
When the trial is up then the program will stop working or be severly crippled.
I prefer to use the version offered by sharewareonsale .
It will most likely continue to work. If I can do it this way.
