[@TK] make too many attempts to get a license that has not arrived, so you try a different email address, and the page will lock you out for an indeterminate period of time.
IF you cannot receive any license emails from allmynotes vendor after submitting at least one valid email address you can go to Support menu on vladonai site and select “user dashboard” and create an account and login and view the license key there and then on the page… I found it was unable to send a license key to a yahoo.co.uk address but did manage to send a verification code to the same address and I found it was ok sending the license key email to gmail.com address.
while this version is supposed to reduce unnecessary to storage it by defaults writes events to “AllMyNotes.log” either in the portable distributions folder or in the users allmynotes folder in the users Documents folder (not a legitimate location for program data files) the log reveals unnecessary saving of preferences when nothing has been changed too! I’m going to try a hack to prevent these unwanted logging events on my systems SSD drive… the hack worked… exit allmynotes.exe process and copy the name of the file “AllMyNotes.log” to the clipboard and rename the file to anything else and then create a new folder in the same folder and paste AllMyNotes.log as it’s new name and then feel free to re-launch allmynotes normally and attempts to make unnecessary log entries fail silently. I cannot address the extra unneeded writes to “AllMyNotes.cnfg” as that is a live file used by the program and blocking the writes could break something.

I have yet to receive the activation code via e-mail after almost 2 days.
I had several older versions on that system so tried a version 3.x version and it ran without issue

I discovered that I still had ver. 2.84 on another computer (as well as a considerably older portable edition), either of which might still be installable / transferable. Do you have reason to think they might still be viable editions for use, at least up thru Win-10 ? If the program’s data formats have undergone any changes, that could equal a Nix for later version applicability ?All Good. I received my code in email. Entered into program, Deluxe version, license “never expires”. It took about 30-60 minutes for code to arrive. Program’s About screen said “Unregistered” before I entered the code. From what the website says, it should be possible to reinstall the same version later, using same code. They say to be sure to download the 4.16 Deluxe version and keep it safe in case you need to reinstall.
Thanks SOS and Vladonai Software! I used this on my old PC, it worked well. I don’t like the hierarchic organization, too many things need to be in multiple branches of the tree structure. The tree would be ok if there was an additional way to link things with relationships or tags, and to be able to select the relationship or tag from a list and add new ones as needed. The list would help avoid duplicate tags that might be spelled differently or singular vs. plural, etc. I can see the tags/relationships list getting large, so it would benefit from a tree organization of its own.

Please, how long does it take to receive the activation code?Just to precise please: I’ve installed it over a previous version and, the 30-60 minutes for code to arrive has clearly passed but: no code in email received yet :/

I couldn’t receive any license emails from allmynotes vendor after submitting my valid gmail.com email address before the giveaway came to an end. So, like you’ve suggested, I went to Support menu on vladonai site and selected “user dashboard” and created an account (with my real name) and logged-in but didn’t view the license key there or on the page… Under My licenses, it still shows: You do not yet have any licenses
