First, how can I download software withiout 8using the shareware downloader? Secondly, the download fo AVG Internet Security. It failed no other info was offered. Thanks

Can’t download this program.

Pop-up states:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item.

The thing is, I haven’t had problems with downloading other programs from SharewareOnSale site.

Any suggestions to fix this particular problem?

OK I installed it.
Win 10 64.
It took comand and started comendering my net. Was up to 54% Heat was 145f.
Looked in task manager. 2 sys files would not end. Removed AVG. Reboot, still had problems. Went to regedit found the loade point and deleted.
Reboot and all fine.
I do not know what I did but was a drag to fix it.

WHY IS THIS AVG GOOD ONLY FOR 179 DAYS?
EVERYTHING I HAVE RECEIVED FROM SHAREWAREONSALE NEVER EXPIRES AND HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE. WHY THIS THEN?
I HAVE BEEN QUITE HAPPY FOR ALL THE FREE SOFTWARE BUT NOW AM QUITE DISAPPOINTED. I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR THIS AS I AM DISABLED SENIOR ON A VERY TIGHT FIXED INCOME.

Because antivirus software is constantly updated.
When this offer ends, you could try another 6 months offer, by another antivirus softwarehouse.

– ZoneAlarm antivirus and firewall are free.
– Comodo internet security is free.
– AVG antivirus is free.
– AVAST antivirus is free.
– Avira antivirus is free.
– Bitdefender antivirus free exists too.
– And so forth.
