GuestOne Union Plus Credit Card purchase notification arrived much later than the transaction itself, which made me wonder how consistent the alert timing is. The charge posted correctly, so the account seems fine otherwise. Has anyone noticed delayed alerts on certain purchases, and did changing notification settings improve the timing afterward? I would like to know whether alert delays are tied to merchant type or settings.

GuestPurchase alerts are valuable only when they arrive close enough to the transaction to be useful. On https://union-plus-credit-card.pissedconsumer.com/review.html, alert behavior can be judged by comparing notification time, posting time, merchant type, and the settings already enabled. A correctly posted charge can still have a delayed alert, so those two parts should stay separate. Several ordinary purchases create a better pattern than one isolated notification. Consistent timing makes the feature dependable, while random delays make it harder to know whether the alert setup is behaving as expected.

GuestPurchase alerts are only useful if they arrive close enough to the transaction. Comparing notification time, posting time, merchant type, and settings across several ordinary purchases sounds much more reliable than judging the feature from one delayed alert.
