    [ @Ashraf] I have installed it on a different drive with n/p. Sure would be helpful if they could/would find a way to avoid windows warning of letting you dwnld. I had to ignore all windows 10 warnings to just dwnld it. If I had not known better I would had given up as I’m sure many do just that.

    Can it be run from a bootable CD ?
    (I ain’t running programs like this whilst Windows is running)

    I again set Windows and tried to activate Eassos PartitionGuru with a completely clean system. The result is the same

    Win10: If not installed on Main drive, then where, if I have no second drive? CD? USB stick? Does it write to the registry?

    It says to not install it on the main partition if you intend to recover deleted files (that could be overwritten).

    On the developer website there is written it can “create bootable USB flash disk in case of Windows crash, and support USB-FDD, USB-ZIP and USB-HDD modes”.

    I’ve got two problems:
    1) It freezes during its startup.
    2) It stops working when I’m trying to backup C: (clone partition to an image file: compression mode high quality)

    Using windows 10 home x64, dep alwayson

    It makes me think it isn’t totally compatible with windows 10…
