[@GiMeSpace] it did not appear to cache the C:\Windows\System32\winevt\Logs folder content writes so is of little use, it did cache the C:\OEM\CareCenter\DebugLog folders unwanted debug log files but the far more often written *.evtx files were not cached, I stopped the Acer care centers debug logging by replacing the folder named “DebugLog” with a zero byte length text file called “DebugLog” so further attempts to create or append the log files will fail silently and no longer waste SSD erase\write cycles. Reading the help file text it seems there are many provisos as to why some things work and others do not. Also the 30 day trial limitation is easy to defeat and turn it into a 1000+ days trial… Out of courtesy I won’t publish how to do it. Because it cannot cache the folders file writes I am interested in I shall uninstall it and stop asking you to offer the full program in the future.

GiMeSpace wasted hours of my time by Making Some Programmes Stop Working. I re-booted, checked for virus’s and even shut down my computer and started it again. I Uninstalled it with a re-boot and everything works fine.

Quote: Data Loss on Exit: When you exit or terminate the RAM Folder software, it wipes the temporary storage from your RAM. Any program actively trying to read or write to those folders will crash or stop working. System/OS Crashes: Quitting the program prematurely can terminate your entire Windows session. No Persistence: Data stored in a RAM folder is volatile. If a programme requires certain files to remain between computer restarts and you haven’t saved them to a physical drive, the programme will fail to load properly upon the next boot. Folder Permissions: While the software is designed to cache only user data files (leaving executables and system files untouched), mapping certain restricted folders (like a system TEMP folder) to a RAM drive can prevent critical processes like Windows Updates from completing.

Hi there, I’m currently testing the Pro version, but I wanted to let you know about an issue. If the Firefox folder caching is enabled, any downloaded .exe files end up completely corrupted.
    Thanks!
