no install Heimdal_msi Windows XP SP3 !!!
Reportedly this updates your other software. Can this “feature” be disabled? Not going to try until I am sure.

Heimdal updates your most security-critical 3rd party applications, which are exploited in over 65% of attacks (some recent statistics say even 85% of attacks are delivered this way).
To answer your question, yes, Heimdal let’s you choose which software you want it to keep up-to-date. But deselecting some of them would mean leaving your computer vulnerable to attacks that exploit the vulnerabilities in those apps.
[@baxaka65] We will have the Technical Details sections corrected. With an update made yesterday to Heimdal PRO, it no longer supports Windows XP.
Regarding Vista, this was an error and it should not have been there in the first place. V2 of Heimdal PRO never supported Windows Vista.[@Kram] Hi Kram! Please see my reply to baxaka65 – since yesterday we no longer support XP. Sorry for the confusion!

[@ScorpionStingz]As Ashraf said, please check that you’re using .NET Framework 4 and also have Windows 7 or above. Since yesterday, Heimdal no longer supports XP.
[@Serious Bob] Support for Chrome 64 bit will be available soon. But Heimdal PRO has many other 3rd party apps that it updates, keeping you safe from attacks. Plus it offers strong traffic scanning and malware detection through its other 2 security engines.

Could you please copy-paste the entire error message?[@vocboc] Did you receive your license key, insert it in the dedicated field in Heimdal and you received an error message that Heimdal can’t be activated?
[@Bobby B.] Windows 7 / 64 is fully supported. Could you please make sure you are using .NET Framework 4? If this doesn’t solve the issue, could you please copy-paste the error message here?

Thanks for bringing us such a generous offer for a whole year. It’s an outstanding ekstra layer of security, and I’m only used to the free version. Perhaps, this giveaway will change my mind – even my standard solution is MBAM Premium and Bitdefender Total Security, this nice piece of Danish quality software will be the cherry at the top. this software is not for me anymore, a lot of misery for a software that must help you against misery..
