The library function in this software isn’t explained well.
Does the program simply list the files in the My Pictures folder, or does it copy them (with face recognition) into a totally seperate database (internal to the program)?
yataguebouGuestTRES BON LOGICIEL MULTIMEDIA.
MERCI.EricGuestLast sentance first. This program installed 4,785 Registry Items and 2,521 Files & Folders occupying 1.52 GB of disk space.
I installed Revo Mediahome Standard 2018 via Revo Uninstaller Pro. The actual installation on my Win 7 pro (64 bit) system went fine with no issues other than taking a while (about 5 minutes or so) to finish up. I didn’t like the the mandatory installation of Nero’s “Reboot Validator” but did it anyway because I was using Revo for the installation which was tracking and logging every change to my system.
Anyway, after the installation (during which I selected to *NOT* associate all media files with this application) I could find NO way to actually start the application – nothing on the desktop or start menu to actually invoke the application. The only thing I was able to manually start was a dialog box showing the license key number and some various links for options, upgrade, etc.
Maybe I missed something but at that point I decided to UNinstall it and was surprised to learn (via Revo Uninstaller Pro) that the program had installed 4,785 Registry Items and 2,521 Files & Folders occupying 1.52 GB of disk space – that’s a bit much for this type of application in my opinion!
Michael EppersonGuestWould not install “This app can’t run on your PC” on my Windows 10 Asus laptop.
JON ROSS2018 Standard couldGuestI Have received this message four times – “The installation wizard was interrupted before Nero MediaHome 2018 Standard could be completely installed.” How can I install this software?
