I’ve just moved into a new-build flat in London and my bathroom window faces directly into my neighbour’s kitchen. It’s so awkward – I feel like I can’t even brush my teeth without putting on a show. Curtains feel too heavy for such a small space. What can I do?

h mate, I know exactly what you mean. I had the same nightmare in my flat. Every time I stepped out of the shower, I’d spot my neighbour making tea and we’d both freeze in that horrible moment of eye contact. Mortifying. I tried those cheap sticky blinds but they fell down after a week. Then a friend told me about privacy film and I landed on https://www.tintfit.com/shop/privacy-products. I chose a frosted film that gives 24-hour privacy while still letting light pour in. Installation was genuinely easy – soapy water, a squeegee, twenty minutes and done. Now my bathroom is flooded with natural light but completely private. No more awkward encounters, no more heavy curtains, just a clean, elegant finish that looks like etched glass. I can actually relax in my own bathroom now. Best small change I ever made.
