Reviews for ACDSee Video Studio 3
Well, the editor’s not bad himself. He’s just too basic. An easy to use editor, but very basic. Similar to Camtasia Studio. Maybe those who are starting in the world of video editing can use it.

Guys, the developer is not new to this. I have 2.0 too, but then I found a bug and, even reported, no answer was given.
This version 3.0 has fewer options than 2.0 and is so basic that you can use an open source solution to replace it, such as OpenShot, ShotCut and KDEnlive. You will need to learn the behaviors, because they are few different to manage, but nothing that difficult. Botton Line: I believe that the focus of these sharewareonsale is to present the software, even with less functions for free, it has become a difficult choice, because their competitors have almost the same resources and prices in lifetime licenses. I have Filmora that´s still upgradable yet, Vegas Studio 3 and VSDC Studio that´s still good enought.
Some bugs – flashing windows taskbar. very few functions, very few filters, no transitions, no export to DVD, Bluray
Most videos shot do not turn out to be as good as they are supposed to be. This can be due to a series of factors, including motion, focus, lighting and noise. Video editing is the process of manipulating and rearranging video shots to improve the overall look of it, or to create a new work. Once done, a restart of the application is required, after which you can start using the application to edit your videos and make them look better.

The UI of the application is clean, easy to use, and follows the modern design that most other video editors have nowadays. At the top is the menu bar, with usual drop down menus. The box to the left is where you can see all the media you have imported to the project, add captions, record voice clips or screen, and all the transitions to add to the videos. The pane to the right is where you can preview your media and the project. To the bottom is the timeline, where you have different sections for caption track, video track, and audio tracks.
