Reviews for All PDF Converter Pro
Good concept: horrible execution. To be fair, have only tried on a single pdf – a 1 page, 2 column editorial from Scientific America. The resulting OCR to Text output:
“][][jrirIijjj]rrilrrrirr]]I}]rrititrrrririi}iririIr

WELL, PDF Converter did ALMOST get the “Scientific American” part right!
Example of text from PaperPort: “Dinosaurs went extinct around 65 million years ago. True by verification and replication of radiometric dating techniques for volcanic eruptions…”
Essentially without error, and the results are the same throughout the article.
Admittedly, PaperPort is – at “Full Retail” – a much more expensive program, and not without a number of FLAWS of it own(!) – but the results from PDF Converter Pro are simply Not Acceptable at any price….
One observation: I have hundreds of PDF files (recipes) and looking for a way to save space.
This app ISN’T it! I ran a test on several files and in every case file size INCREASED.
The HTML format was my favorite in appearance but, Alas, you get the html file and an “includes” folder. The space requirement
increases to an unacceptable level, defeating the purpose.
It seemed to work fine so I plan to keep it in my toolbox, “Just in case”.
I have a few “tough nut” PDF files that break most PDF tools. One of them is an unlocked PDF containing editable text. However, someone purposely obfuscated the encoding in this PDF, possibly so that it couldn’t be searched.
So far, only two programs I know have successfully decoded this document. NitroPro PDF 11 and AllPDF Converter Pro 4.2.2.1.
Good:
– Easy to use
– Will decrypt a hard-case PDF
– On a very complex document, it almost perfectly replicated the entire document. The few glitches were easily fixed
Bad:
– The formatting was significantly broken in one of my “tough tests”
Conclusion:
Based on limited testing, this is a worthy tool to have in your PDF arsenal. It did what most other PDF converters can’t do. It also held its own against NitroPro 11, although it does a lot less than NitroPro does at a much cheaper price.
The Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format used to present documents in a manner independent of application software, hardware, and operating systems. It is the most commonly used file format in offices, schools, colleges, and other places. So most of the users have to deal with these files on regular basis. This makes it necessary for the users to have a software application that can help extract, convert and process PDF files. There are many applications available for this, most of which come with basic functions, none of which works well.
All PDF Converter Pro is a conversion application, that allows you to convert multiple PDF files to Word, Excel, image, HTML, Epub, TXT, and XML. It also comes with the ability to convert pages of a file into individual files if needed.
Installation & Set-up
The installer size is ~33MB and the installation process is simple and straightforward, taking no time at all to complete. After launching it, you can register the application using the license information easily. Once done, you can start adding files to the application and convert them to your desired format.
User Interface
The UI of the application is simple, clean, and has a modern design where everything is well-organized. This makes the application easy to use for all types of users, even the novices. From the left side you can select your desired conversion format, and to the section on the right, you can add multiple PDF files to convert. At the top is the menu bar, followed by buttons to add files, remove files, clear file lists, and access settings menu. At the bottom, is the ‘Start’ button, along with a box that allows you to change the output folder. There’s a progress bar at the bottom, but it doesn’t really tell you about when the process is going to finish.
Pros
– Easy-to-use wizard like UI, makes the whole process easy.
– Supports conversion to formats like Word (doc/docx), Excel (xls, xlsx), PPTX, Epbu, Txt, Html, Images (jpg/png/bmp/Tiff/EMFF), XML.
– OCR technology enables you to extract text from scanned or image-only PDF files and convert them to editable, selectable and searchable documents.
– Built-in PDF viewer allows you to preview files before converting.
– Select page range to convert, with ability to convert each page into individual files.
– Ability to batch process multiple files at once.
– Supports conversion of password protected PDF files too.
– Supports languages English, German, Russian, Chinese, French, Italian and Spanish.
Cons
– Slow conversion speeds compared to other similar applications.
– Sometimes it produces outputs that are not editable, readable etc.
– Stops responding when adding files to the application.
Conclusion
All PDF Converter Pro is a reliable application that can help users with all most all of their needs when it comes to PDF format files. It allows conversion of PDF files to many different useful formats. The conversion speed could have been better, otherwise it’s a good application overall.
Hey, please send me the screenshot and we will fix the problem immediately. Best regards. supprt@pdfconverters.net
Verdict: Awfull! – not even worth trying
minor drawbacks and bugs:
– Does NOT keep my own settings… (would make your work less convenient and efficent)
– On some documents the output extrtemly differs between choosing to .doc or to .docx! (which is not very reasonable on text based documents…!)
– Rather slow in conversion speed…
but now to the real drawbacks and limitations:
– Most results were not really editable: Many text chunks in text”boxes” which makes editing and formatting really hard!
– Some resulting .docx documents were not even readable: lines were squeezed extremely close together (e.g 12 pages on 1 page…)
– Some resulting documents did not even contain the images from the original .PDF file…
– Some resulting documents were heavyly damaged in layout…
And a final remark to be abolutely clear:
– Althoug most of my PDF files used for testing were a little bit harder to handle, but ALL of those original .PDF documents were better converted at least by some of the for free offered online converter services – and most of them even by programs tha are available for free!
– All that iI DID test was conversion to .DOC and to .DOCX. But because I was very disappointed on the results I did NOT go on to test HTML, Epub aND XML.
– Testing conversion to .JPG or .TXT seems in any case be obsolete to me because this mere extraction is already implemented in many PDF-viewers.
Hi, this software is good. It does exactly what it says! The output is as far as I have tried, as in the pdf file. Some specifics: outputting to .jpg image, the program outputs the jpeg at 100% quality, no compression, so the resulting jpeg is not bad quality. Some other programs I have tried output at low jpeg quality. Overall, a useful little program to convert your pdf files for various reasons. Easy to use, and good output.
.. until now, the quick & best converter being able to recognize – OCR – the Czech language – with special characters. Like it from first try, worth to download and use.
