    @Michael Rusakov, Hello
Can you please tell which version is the most recent one?
Is there a newer one, after 3.2? Is 3.2 from 15.4.2014?
There is NO information on the site, neither date nor version number!
Not even on the dwld page! :( And I did look!!
Of course, having a changelog, even a minimal one, would clear any confusion, but having asked for one in the past, I know we wont get one …
But surely, it can not be that difficult to at least add the date & version to the dwld page …
For starters, we would know if we have the latest version!, instead of going through the trouble of installing a version, only to realize (again) it’s the same *sigh*
    Peace

[@jwehlitz] As I can see from our server records, there are two successful activations for your registration key. Please do not forget to restart SecureSafe Pro after the activation is complete. And the second, as Ashraf advised, please try to run SecureSafe Pro as an administrator and activate it. SecureSafe Pro will create securesafe.key file alongside with the .exe file (that file will contain all the activation info and will work on any other computer if you decide to use SecureSafe Pro as a portable app).

    Hope our advices helped.

[@jwehlitz] Have you tried running as admin? Restarting the program? Is it still showing as unregistered? Hopefully Michael can clear up the confusion.

    [@amird] Thanks!

[@JonE] They are developed by the same developer, as Michael says :-)

[@JonE] WinCatalog and SecureSafe Pro are two software projects developed by the same company OrangeCat Software, formerly known as Mar Software. WinCatalog.com never was a company name – it was (and is) used as a brand name. You may treat OrangeCat Software like a parent company for both WinCatalog and SecureSafe Pro subdivisions.

WinCatalog is on market since 2001 and SecureSafe Pro developed was started in 2004 as a part of the project but it was moved into a separate brand and project in the late 2004.

I’m curious why these two programs together? Do the developers of either program have any kind of affiliation with each other? Or were either of these two developers have anything to do with the other program at any time? I know that WinCatalog is and has always been solely developed by WinCatalog. I guess what I’m asking is if WinCatalog has ever had anything to do with SecureSafe? Or if perhaps OrangeCat Software might be an affiliate of WinCatalog, or something like that.

Just a curious question because as I researched SecureSafe there were some things I read that lead me to believe that this may be true. But it may not be and so I’m curious why these two programs together?

It won’t be a deciding point of whether I get either program; just curios.

Ashraf – Recently google change the gmail compose and some gmail users like me hated it. I downloaded an extension to the old compose which worked fine for a week or 2 then google change it so now we are forced to use the new compose.

Today I got this email from old compose extension developer that they fixed a bug and old compose is working fine.
They added a button that shows on the header and its cool. Thought I share with you.

Please dont use my name…but do share the url link if you want.

    Thank you.

After dowloading, registering, and activating the program; it still says it’s unregistered on the about screen. Is it registered and activated or not?

    Thanks,

The registration bug has been fixed. Apparently it was being caused by faulty regex.

[@Maximus] The developer is human like the rest of us. Mistakes happen. Don’t write off the program without at least trying it.

A program where the developers can’t even compose a simple log in process, does not convey much confidence in their product. /Oct2013/

[@bioxx] There appears to be a bug in the registration form that email addresses with numbers in them are not accepted — only email addresses with no numbers are accepted. We’ve contacted the developer to get this fixed but this may take a few hours due to timezone differences, so simply use a different email if you get an error message.

Keep getting >>There are some errors in the form below. Please check entered data and try again.<< on the registration page. All filled in correctly. Now what?

Product Description

SecureSafe Pro lets you keep your passwords, credit card numbers, documents, notes and other private data inside a secure storage protected by a master password, ensuring your data is for your eyes only.

If you are having problems remembering all your passwords and logins, would like to protect yourself against identity theft and need a reliable software solution to store files with confidential information in one place safely and securely, you need to get SecureSafe Pro. Sure, it may sound like a sales push, but you’ll change your mind once you try it. After all, great software sells itself. And here is why:

  • SecureSafe Pro uses a military-grade encryption standard approved and used by the US Department of Defense (namely AES, Advanced Encryption Standard with 256-bit key).
  • It frees you from having to remember all of your passwords and logins. They are stored in a database tree, which is very easy to search and navigate.

When you visit a site, simply click the SecureSafe Pro icon conveniently located in the system tray, enter your access password and that’s it. Never check “Remember my login and password” box on websites, since this is not safe and may lead to hackers getting access to your private information, or worse yet – stealing your identity. Use SecureSafe Pro instead.

The program also includes a number of safety precautions, such as the unloading of access data if the program is left idle, and a “tough password generator” feature.

This program is not just another password keeper. You can store regular files inside the program. The program can store any file and all files can be launched from SecureSafe Pro. The files stored with SecureSafe Pro won’t be visible and accessible to anybody but you. There are no limits to how many entries you can store and the program is incredibly easy to use.

If you find any solution that works better than SecureSafe Pro, let us know. But since such a program has not yet been released, we suggest you take advantage of SecureSafe Pro.
