I had not trouble downloading or installing or registering the program, and it’s the Pro version. Would be very nice if Efficient Sticky Notes could use OCR to extract text from PDF or scanned image files, and display linked files or attachments within the note. Would also like to add tags to notes, where tags are in a hierarchic list that I can build (so I can impose additional organization, find things faster, and use a consistent set of tags so I don’t have to guess at tag names later. None of these are deal-breakers. Program looks simple to use, I like the Group/Subgroup features.

This lets you decide which notes to show on your desktop desktop, and they all appear in the program window. I was able paste an image into a note but when I opened it again, the image was gone. Program does let you link a file or attach it, you then need to open a note and click the appropriate button to open the linked file or attachment. Works but would be nice to see a large thumbnail of an image or other file type, and to see that thumbnail in the desktop display. Program seems more intent on helping you track information and find it again later, than to create a nice display of notes, reminders, diagrams, whatever else you need to get through the week.

I’d still recommend giving it a try, seems that the download issues from earlier are fixed now.
