GuestWhen you try to buy this thing, don’t do it with Malwarebytes. You can’t buy it. Malwarebytes blocks the exchange, because of what it calls riskware. If you disable Malwarebytes to purchase it, use a prepaid debit card out of caution. Of course, if this software wasn’t offered as selfishware (no free updates), this wouldn’t even be an issue at all. I might buy it later.

GuestWhy so many negative votes? Has anyone tried this? I already have a good hot-key capability within True Launch Bar so I won’t be installing Wise HotKey. I highly recommended TLB – it supports hot keys and menus and so many other features, very flexible to look and work the way you want… TrueLaunchbar dot com. It’s 19.90 USD vs 9.96 for today’s offer, so Wise HotKey may be a better deal depending on your needs.
I thought Wise products had a good reputation. Are downvotes because the program is not seen as helpful, or because it doesn’t work well?
I don’t see “free with no updates” as selfishware; I’m grateful for the chance to try programs beyond the typical 10- or 30-day trial period. I’ve bought many programs to get the full, licensed version, and contributed what I could for things like Libre Office in hopes they can continue supporting and improving. Sadly, I can’t afford that for everything I like, so again the free offers are simply amazing in my opinion. Software development and marketing and support all cost money. I’ve put several programs out as freeware in the past, but for anything that took significant time and effort I wanted some $.
