I have been using this software for approximately four years. I will admit I get it free through my on-line bank account.
It has detected stuff that the other antivirus programs missed. My daughter who is a programmer and has a master degree in computer programming works for a company that only uses Webroot as it has detected stuff for them also that the others failed to do. So yes, I keep my on-line bank account so I can get this free and I have had no trouble with it.
