I had this 10 years ago. It is very lightweight, and it gives very good scores with popular anti-virus tests. Just remember that 6 months goes by before you know it.

I have been using this software for approximately four years. I will admit I get it free through my on-line bank account.
It has detected stuff that the other antivirus programs missed. My daughter who is a programmer and has a master degree in computer programming works for a company that only uses Webroot as it has detected stuff for them also that the others failed to do. So yes, I keep my on-line bank account so I can get this free and I have had no trouble with it. Take the this opportunity to try it; and thank you Ashraf for giving the people a chance to try it free; just remember that is a six-month license and time goes by rather quickly!This is NOT FREE or ACTIVATED.
I installed it and did a scan and to clean what it found it is demanding payment.
This is not acceptable and something is wrong.
There is no information here how to handle this bug.
This is supposedly an activated version which it is NOT.
I am not happy as this program wasted me a lot of time.UPDATE:
Being adamant I tried again, uninstalled program, downloaded it again from here, reinstalled it and this time it did successfully register and activate.
After creating my Webroot account I checked my subscription and found out that I have a weird expiration date, I have 204 days only, till August 3, 2019. Not bad for free, but wish it was a year, 365 days.Webroot SecureAnywhere 2019 (100% discount)

It is a very good antivirus but yes, I can confirm it has a 6 months licence :-( I wish it was lasting at least a year! Anyway, happy to be able to try it for 6 months. Thank you
