xSecuritasGuestHi.
Is there any problem during insatall?
May I help you ?xSecuritasGuestEven in the giveaway program, we offer:
1. Free version upgrade support.
2. Free technical support.
3. Same support as retail versionGaryGuestIf I have no profiles set up, how can I prevent Secure PC from starting when I boot the PC? I do not see how it is started using the common Startup entries. I used Glary Utilities to check all my startup locations but did not see what kicks it off.

You can set whether to start “Secure PC” automatically when booting your pc by clicking the option menu on the left side of the main window.
GaryGuest@xSecuritas
>”You can set whether to start “Secure PC” automatically when booting your pc by clicking the option menu on the left side of the main window.”I already have the “Automatically run program when booting” checkbox unticked and applied but it still starts after each boot.
After the initializing dialog, it prompts for me to choose the language, and the default is already on English, so I click OK, and then a dialog comes up stating: “Secure PC has stopped working” “Windows is checking for a solution to the problem…” and then that dialog is finally closed.
If the program stops after trying to start, I would be leery of depending on it, however I still would like to know what is causing the program to stop.
This is an example of why this type of program is risky to use, because if it crashes upon startup, but the user needs the program to work in order to access their files, they are in a dire situation; a dilemma that is not easily solved. First a program has to be reliable. Only then can it be depended on for its intended use. Right now, you have a program that is not dependable, and that can put a lot of data at risk.

I understood.
The causes of these issues vary.
It may be a bug in “Secure PC”, a conflict with other programs, or a .Net inconsistency.Would you send us a log file to solve the cause?
The log file is located in the C:\ProgramData\xSecuritas folder.
You can zip all the files in the xSecuritas folder.
My email address is [email protected]We want to slove your issues.

Each time the PC is rebooted, the log contains these lines after the program has crashed:

This log is in a normal state.
Is there no output after this log?
Can I see your PC remotely? If remote is available, I can do it in 2 hours.
GaryGuest@xSecuritas
>”Is there no output after this log?”
No, nothing after at all. If I boot twice within the same 24 hours (same day), then I get two sets of these (times different only).>”Can I see your PC remotely?”
Unfortunately, no. I do some work for a senator, and as part of my agreement, I cannot have anyone connect remotely. The tightness of security is another reason why I want to know exactly why the program fails.Anything that can be done remotely, I can do locally, provided I have the instructions. I have been a developer since the CP/M days (the OS before DOS), and can understand any technical instructions necessary to do any diagnostics. I have to do as much checking on a public program as I can before installing in order to have a pretty good idea what it does and accesses. I can install common production programs (used by the public), but custom programs (such as for diagnostics) are another matter. If it is a common tool, I may already have it. Otherwise, I am limited to doing research on my own. I hope you understand.
xSecuritasGuest[@Gary]
I fully understand your situation.
I also want to know why this is happening.
Because this program can be used by an unspecified number of people, and if it is a bug I have not yet foreseen, I need to fix it soon.
(Currently, about 10,000 people are using this program normally.)So I also need your help.
The log you gave is the part that initialized in the program.
Therefore, it is impossible to identify the cause only with the log.If the program stops, will you see a warning message box with the error message?
If so, can you send me the contents of it?Or can you get a memory dump?
(When the program stops, select FolProt.exe in the Task Manager and click the right mouse button to display a menu that allows you to create a memory dump.)xSecuritasGuest[@Gary]
