When do you get this?
During installation? Or when you open the program?MickGuestThis is like a “Honey Trap!” You install and the program wants to update immediately and become unregistered. This SUCKS Ashraf, can you at least put a warning to disable the stupid update TRAP?
sonycGuestThanks.
chrisGuesthello the software is not register! you says: There is no need to register it because we register it for you automatically when you download from us. but after one day ask to buy license!
Rich DGuestI installed this today and this evening it says it is not licensed and wants me to buy a license
PeterGuestCan’t leave nice command. Will test the newest version not an older version.
Nice trick. But not with me.Mr.DaveGuestI like SoftOrganizer from the same company, but I uninstalled RegOrganizer within 10 minutes. “Powerful Registry editor to quickly search and replace keys and data…” was what piqued my interest in the product. Alas, there is NO replace function. So if you want to move an application and use this program to replace all the path references in the Registry, well, it can help you find them but then it’s a manual edit for each one. No better than Regedit. I like the Favorites in the registry editor, but think it’s better to keep a list of keys I want to revisit, with a description of WHY, in a separate spreadsheet or text document.
What SCARED me, was there are a few places that say it will delete contents of the Downloads folder that area older than x number of days. It never says what triggers this action, and there’s no option to disable it. Also, some comments said the program tried to update itself after a day or so, and there is NO way to disable that. So the license will obviously expire pretty quickly. Also, the registry cleaner is in the “For all users” section, not “Advanced Users”, yet many comments have said you better know what you’re doing and be prepared to dive into the details, or this program will likely trash your system. I know it’s the Microsoft mentality that it’s ok to require users to completely reinstall Windows on a frequent basis, but I personally try to avoid that.
The program uninstall & installation monitoring are already part of SoftOrganizer, which I highly recommend. I don’t see that RegOrganizer adds any value, just risk. I hope I’m wrong, but it seems the developers have in mind a specific way in which people will use their PCs, and if you use yours a different way, this program may cause some problems.
