What does this do that Audacity has not already done for free for many years?

Let me just add to your comment the fact that Audacity can export recordings to various audio formats including WAV, AIFF, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and MP2.
And if one installs the optional FFmpeg library for Audacity one can export to many more audio formats like AC3, AMR(NB), M4A, MP4 and WMA.
I installed this app, but it will not open?
Completely uninstalled the app, including tracings, and re-installed, with the same results.
Seems to be a bug in the ointment?I have same problem!! Supposedly installs but there is NO Interface to use the program. Uninstalled and reinstalled several times and still nothing to try even the task manager says it is installed and running. Uninstalled since the program as installed is useless!
Ditto for me…will not open so hitting the uninstall button.
I installed this software but it is not working properly .. un-installed same with some difficulty.
[@jayk] Jayk, I also use Audacity and think its good, but have found the tagging of things like exported MP3 files to be full of bugs and errors.
This is not Hi-Q MP3 Recorder Pro. It’s some limited functionality version called 1AV Sound Recorder. It only records – no other features (editing, conversion etc.).
Does not open when I double-click.

You launch the program and nothing happens.
Task Manager shows the program ‘is not responding’.Doesn’t work. Won’t record anything. Only thing “offered” is a discounted lifetime license and giveaway says it’s free. Pffffffft.
