This is Esther from Effie. We just received an email an hour ago from one of our users saying that they haven’t received the payment code. And there seems to be more in the forum encountering the same situation.
Please let us know if you have fixed the problem. We haven’t heard anything from you since yesterday when we report the problem.

Yep, now it works and the code is distributed! A bit sad that I had to email Effie and learn that they’ve been trying for a while to rectify this for no avail, since I suspect a lot of users are now lost. :/ Anyway, good program!
Hi, how do I get the payment code?
payment code does not work….with this much difficulty registering, it’s hard to believe the program will be user friendly.
[@Laco] Hi Laco, you need to fill out some basic info on Sharewareonsale first and you’ll receive a payment code both on the site as well as via email.
Here’s how to activate the payment code on Windows and Mac:
1. Download and install Effie for Windows or Mac to activate the code as the App Store doesn’t have code entry. You can download it from effie.pro, Microsoft Store, or Mac App Store.
2. Sign in with your email address, Google account, or Apple ID.
3. Click the button at the bottom left when it shows Subscribe Now…
4. Click I have payment code >>.
5. Enter the code, and click Okay, and the code has been successfully activated.If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our team via [email protected]

What are the restrictions after the 6 months?
[@Michael] Hi Michael, after 6 months, the software will downgrade to the trial version automatically, and all the Advanced features in the Settings would be locked as well.
I had to request the deal again to get the registration code.
On Windows 10, when dragging the main window, there is a terrible lag that makes it very difficult to reposition the window.I can’t figure out how to display the map. I get the main window with the default example text entries, but no icon to display them in a map. Any clues?
I tried to find what export formats are supported, but there is only a blog entry about WordPress in the “knowledge base”.
I do not received yet the “payment code”…how can I get it ?
[@Fred] Hi Fred, for the dragging problem, we’d suggest you upgrade your computer system to Windows 11, or you could turn off the transparency effects in your computer settings, and the problem will be solved.
For the mind map, you can start a list to trigger the mind map button. Just type – and a space, and you’ll see the mind map button on the top right. Or you can go to the Introduction folder on the left sidebar for more tutorials.
We currently support exporting sheets into JPG, Word, PDF, Markdown, and EffieSheet formats.
