TomGuestI tried this software as its something I thought I would like, and its simply amazing especially with the amount of pdfs I look through for reference, light and fast on this pc, exactly what I need and one to keep an eye on.
As always thank you Ashraf for hosting the giveaway and to the companies that supply you with the licensesTortugaGuestHi there Ash! :)
Glad to see the site’s new design, specially glad you got rid of Disqus, I’ll be able to post again, now!! A pity we lost so much great info from the posts of the previous years.About this soft:
-It has a Hardware Activation (as per the Fine Print at BdJ). This is really important to know prior to install. And it would be *REALLY* nice if you could incorporate these type of details in a Terms & Conditions tab for each offer. (Type of activation, if a Portable is available, if it can be transferred, etc)
-Was considering trying the 100% offer, then buying, but because of the Hardware Activation, it’s a no go for me…
Hope this helps,
PeaceTortugaGuestHi again
Can you add an ‘Edit’ button to the posts, sometimes it’s very useful to be able to correct smthing that slipped by.
Can you add numbers to the posts? That’s very useful too!!
CiaoMoanerGuesthi thanks for this free (
$39.99)prog.
It’s not something I’d purchase “expensive” for what it does!
… just to warn others that there does not seem to be an option to “stop” it from starting @windows startup!
(should be fixed for the price)…. (ran!t)lacGuestbjr
existe t’il une version francaise.
merciAshrafKeymaster[@Tortuga] Thanks for the feedback. Will work on all of that. As for losing comments from previous years, there was too much ‘junk’ to display. I figured a clean slate is better.
JimGuestI just have a couple questions:
1) Is there a way to enlarge the print? – I just need glasses and a magnifying glass is all.
2) Is there a way to make the print ‘black’? – The light blue is hard for me to readI do like the options to choose what you want.
SueGuest@Jim: 1) Use ctrl + your mouse’s scroll wheel to change the print size;
2) the print is showing almost black on my monitor, so I don’t have a suggestion for you as to the color you’re seeing.AshrafKeymaster[@Jim] What light blue? And you can manually increase the size of text in your own browser, if you want.
Mr.AllrounderGuestReview:
The software seems to be in a nascent stage. There is no way to clear the recent file list, only to send items to recycle bin or the permanent shift-del delete.Perhaps it can be done using a tracks/privacy eraser, just like Windows Explorer Recent folder.Suggestion:
On a windows 7 like mine > Start menu> in search box type Startmenu > select customize the start menu> check the recent items options and you have your own recent accessed list.or
If you like to look at the contents of Recent Items on a frequent basis, you may want to create a shortcut on the desktop.
Right-click the desktop
In the context menu, choose “New”
Select “Shortcut”
In the box “Type the location of the item”, enter:
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\
Click “Next”
Name the shortcut “Recent items” or name of your choice
Click “Finish”You can also pin this shortcut to the taskbar or place in some other convenient location.
or
Use a portable software like Quick cliq ( program launcher) which saves upto 30 recent items/ RecentFilesView by Nirsoft.
I would really vouch for this program if it had a clear list option and some more skins without the ugly icons.
