Ashampoo Music Studio 2016 is was the favorite of a good program so much and he loved
The naming convention confuses me. How does this compare to Ashampoo Music Studio 5? Better or older?
Should add ability to create sheet music or guitar tab from audio clip.
Already have Goldwave to do all the other stuff.I cannot tell from the description if this actually lets you truly edit mp3s, meaning cutting pieces out, etc. While I already have a program that does that, it’s not easy to use and very idiosyncratic, so this would be a great addition IF it can do what I want.
I Downloaded the (Supposedly) Windows XP Version of Ashampoo Music Studio 2016, Which Downloaded Fine, But When I Ran it; It Popped Up (After the Language – English OK Button was Clicked on)… An Error Tab That Said “This Program Does not Support the Version of Windows You Computer is Running” What Up?? First Time That’s Ever Happened… Running Windows XP Pro with All the Updates Available… Thanks…

Well, with no reply (things have been much quieter around here since the changes—used to be super-helpful and active) I decided to give it a spin, and it does all that I wanted, so thumbs up. Speaking of which, the up and down votes system still seems very misleading. This piece of software has less than 2/3 positive votes, which would ordinarily be an automatic pass for me. But since I was familiar with older versions, I thought I’d give it a try, and am quite pleased so far. So why all the negative votes? Would be so much more helpful if everyone would just indicate, even one sentence, why they like or dislike a piece of software. I suspect many of the down votes are not really thoughtful critiques but just folks indicating that they’re not interested, which is very misleading. What do you think?

I have used other ashampoo programs and this one for other years so I already know it is a good program.
I have a problem though because the license key number that was given to me is being found invalid by the program. I am not sure what to do here. Suggestion please.
I am so sorry. It was entirely my fault. I had downloaded the wrong version. I just went back and downloaded the correct version and the license key worked perfectly.

Contrary to what I thought from description, this IS NOT the full version- it is missing the playlist generator that is in Music Studio 6. Music Studio 2016 mentions the Playlist Generator in the Help section, but it is missing in the program. Another hook to get try and sell you and upgrade to Music Studio 6 if you want this feature.
