Old version, as the name suggests (2015). v1.05 vs 1.13 (newest?). Wouldn’t bother. Ashampoo’s marketing is, or has been, in my experience, an inch short of a hoax anyway. They’ve said sthg is freeware, when it’s been a trial. Not saying it is, just that how I’ve experienced it. Cannot rate, so give it a three.

Ashampoo Privacy Protector has a hidden virus that Windows Defender found when trying to install this software, Windows blocks this app from installing.
I would suggest that Shareware test these free software offers before putting them up.I install the App and Window will not start the App.
A message from Windows show me a Window with code 225. The said it has a Virus or is not allowed to start. Even when I start is as Administrator, then the App was deleted.
Microsoft has start a KI what such Apps not allowed to start. Sincerely Papillion
