Art Designer is a simple to use abstract modern art designer/creator. Simply tap the New Design button to begin your art design. Use touch to move or delete individual art elements to improve the rendering. Manipulate the shapes of the art elements using multiple fingers. Recolor and/or add additional art elements.
The created art work can be saved using screenshots. The saved .png file can easily be cropped and sized using Microsoft Paint, for example. The final result can be printed on plain paper or taken to a Photo/Print shop to be printed on high quality paper.
From the Help page:
The first step is to determine whether this app interests you. Leave the Settings Wheels set as they are. Tap the New Design button, look at the result and record it as interesting or not interesting. Tap the Back arrow on your device.
Repeat this New Design, record, Back arrow operation twenty times. If you got at least 3 or 4 interesting results this app may very well be useful.
Repeatedly tap the New Design button again until you see something interesting. Use mouse or touch to move some of the elements around. Notice that you can change the shapes, especially if you use two fingers. Also note that you can drag unwanted elements off the screen.
Tap the Back arrow. Tap Show again.
Tap the Back arrow again and tap Recolor - the shapes stay the same.
Tap the Back arrow and tap Add Elements. You will usually want to change the Settings wheels
before you use Add Elements. Tap the Back arrow and tap Sign. Use your finger, mouse, or pen to write something.
The Settings Wheels:
There are three setting wheels. The Complexity wheel allows for 7 different types of complexity. Higher numbers give rise to more complexity. The Inner Reps and Outer Reps also effect
complexity by adding certain types of repetitive behavior.
There is a lot of randomness involved and this gives rise to the wide variety of - including the useless - designs.
Screenshots:
You can save your designs to a .png file by using your devices screenshot capabilities. How you do this depends up your device. It is often done by simultaneously pressing and holding the
power and volume (up or down) button for 2 seconds. This places your screenshot in the screenshots folder, a sub folder of the pictures folder.
Final results:
You may want to crop and resize the final .png image before printing. There are many free applications that you can use to do this. We use Microsoft Paint, for example. We have obtained beautiful final results by
have the images printed on high quality paper at a local photo shop.
