[@zcrself],I believe you need to install the giveaway on another computer, then you can connect the two computers over the web ( or the local network, too ? ).
Are you saying that you have done that, and the client seems to need a license, too, and the giveaway is ONLY for the server, but the CLIENT is going to cost us?

I have just installed VPN-X Server 2.8.1.71,your giveaway, but it does not hide my real IP address; I understand that there must be used a VPN client so that I have tried to install VPN-X-2.8.1.72-Client-HC-JRE but it requires to uninstall the already installed VPN-X Server, what shall I do???

I am very disappointed with this lousy giveaway as it is only the free version.
I am uninstalling it and I don’t like it that I just wasted my time.This is a horrible, lousy and time wasting program.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL IT.
You are going to be very disappointed with this poor program as it does not work the way you expect a good VPN to work.
Pass up on this lousy program and a big shame on this site to waste our time and offer this garbage program.As others have indicated, the download only installs the ‘free’ version, doesn’t actually register for the ‘pro’ as offer implies. Very disappointing. You can’t really call this a rip off, because it didn’t cost anything, but it is very miss-leading and doesn’t speak well for this site.
