In the reviews it was said that the program only plays files through one channel, very obvious on headphones. Also that after pausing a song, when you resume it starts from the beginning. Looks like they have fixed this:

I’m running version 23.5 right now, with headphones, and Born on the Bayou sounds excellent in both left and right channels. Good stereo separation, the opening guitar sound moves from one side to the other, the lead guitar is on one side and rhythm guitar on the other. Yes folks, it’s stereo. Not one channel.

When I hit the Pause button, the song stops and the Pause button becomes a Play button. When I hit this Play button, the song resumes from the point where I paused it. I can do this many times in a song, it’s never failed.
When I hit the Stop button, the song stops and the Pause button becomes a Play button. When I hit this Play button, the song starts over from the beginning. Makes sense to me and works every time.

Also, I reorganized my hard drives so songs had moved. I see no way to tell Zortam about this so I deleted them all from the library. With a now empty library, it was very easy to go to File menu and select Add Folder, then find the folder with my songs in it. They all showed up in the library, ready to play. I like that I can choose what music files to include.

Program is full of features (many nice surprises!) but you can learn them as you need them.
