UPDATE:
Being adamant I tried again, uninstalled program, downloaded it again from here, reinstalled it and this time it did successfully register and activate.
After creating my Webroot account I checked my subscription and found out that I have a weird expiration date, I have 204 days only, till August 3, 2019. Not bad for free, but wish it was a year, 365 days.
