When you download and install “Hide Files” from SharewareOnSale, no license key is required, as it comes preactivated. However, if you previously installed an older version (we have offered it as a giveaway multiple times), you may have set a password. You will need to enter that password to access the software.
To completely reset the software, you may need to delete the following Registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\VOVSOFT\Hide Files
Please note that incorrect use of the Registry Editor can cause serious issues. Proceed with caution.
