Correct me if I’m wrong, but the expiration date is for the upgrades and support. I have the program from a previous giveaway. The note at the top is to renew the expired subscription for updates and support. The program as downloaded still works.
Actually, this is generous to get support and upgrades for some time since most of the giveaways revert to trial version if you allow an upgrade to happen after installed.
