GuestCorrect me if I’m wrong, but the expiration date is for the upgrades and support. I have the program from a previous giveaway. The note at the top is to renew the expired subscription for updates and support. The program as downloaded still works.
Actually, this is generous to get support and upgrades for some time since most of the giveaways revert to trial version if you allow an upgrade to happen after installed.

You get free tech support for six monthsThe last lines of the Success! page clearly states:
“Note: In the online user dashboard, there would be something shown as AVAILABLE UNTIL.
This does NOT mean the expiry date of the registration or giveaway.
This only refers to until when you have the ability to download the software.
Once downloaded, the software full version is valid for an unlimited time as long as you
do not uninstall.”So people, ALWAYS read carefully what the DIRECTIONS says !

GuestDownloaded and installed the program and did not see any menu item for ‘Register Now” per install instructions, nor did I ever get an email with a license. There was a long number on the registration page but no place for me to install it. Upshot, after several tries, I still have a version that expires next month.

GuestTitle: Unprofessional and aggressive customer service – account deleted after fair feedback
I got a promotion for Screencapt Pro from ASCOMP Software via SharewareOnSale. The offer clearly stated: “You get free updates and tech support for six months for the same major version.”
However, after installation, I only received one month of support. When I contacted ASCOMP about this, I received a very short response: “Then it’s wrong on SharewareOnSale.” No explanation, no willingness to help.
When I pointed out that this kind of response doesn’t inspire trust, I got the following reply:
“Because SHAREWAREONSALE shows wrong value, you cannot trust US? Very interesting logic. I removed your accounts, have a nice day.”So my account was deleted simply because I questioned the discrepancy between the advertised terms and what I received. This is completely unprofessional and, frankly, disrespectful.
Even if SharewareOnSale made a mistake, ASCOMP could have responded in a courteous and constructive way. Instead, they chose arrogance and retaliation.
I can no longer recommend ASCOMP. A company that treats customers this way does not deserve your trust.

GuestPlease stick with the truth! You wrote that then nobody can trust our business, which for us was a request to remove your accounts. If you don’t trust us, you obviously don’t want to have an account with us.
We respond in the same way people write to us. If this is too “aggressive” for you, then maybe you should choose a proper way to write and you will receive the same in return.
