[@TK] I found a simple solution to youtube downloader failure… get a current copy of yt-dlp_x86.exe from the github projects releases page and replace the broken ytb.exe with the renamed current yt-dlp_x86.exe file. You can either keep the file updated manually by revisiting releases page and getting latest version when changes are needed or launch an admin command prompt in the youtube folder and execute the command line “ytb.exe -U” and if it has an internet connection it will self update to the current release build.
