[@Bob] synchredible won’t suffice for you as it does not preserve file creation date and ACL’s and alternate data streams etc on restoration from the sync destination, you require drive imaging tools and they are notoriously unreliable on live systems no matter the tweaks to use VSS and proprietary systems. reliable drive mirroring should be done offline using a bootable version of the software using either a linux port on a liveUSB/CD or WinPE based system.
