[@TK] I used 3rd party login and THEN the redemption code worked. YOU HAVE TO BE LOGGED IN EITHER BY A NEW ACCOUNT OR A 3RD PARTY LOGIN (google login) AND THEN AND ONLY THEN WILL THE REDEMPTION CODE WORK.
The Directions give on the download page were fundamentally incomplete in missing out what to do with the initial login screen before any systray icon is created. Hope this helps.
