I had this program from another offer and loved it, but noticed that it hasn’t been running lately. When I tried to start it manually, I got this message: C:\Program Files\SecureAge\Whitelist\SecureAPlus.exe Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent harware of software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source.”
It looks like either SecureAPlus is flagging itself as bad, or something in Windows Vista doesn’t like it. No way to tell which. So I uninstalled it all with Revo, rebooted as the uninstaller requested. Deleted all related folders and old files. Then I ran the installer I got last night from SharewareOnSale. Same problem. No way to register since I can’t even get the program to run. Looks like I lost a good program, but I’ll try again while the offer is still available.
I hope others have better success, it really is a good approach for protection and takes few system resources to do its job.
Good that you highlighted on this issue. Windows Vista can’t verify the new signature that comply with Windows 10. In this case, they will be doing some adjustments and releasing an update during the 1st week of April.
