Should you have any issue with SecureAPlus, do drop them an email at [email protected]
Just to note, they are based in Singapore so they will only get back to you from 9 – 6pm (GMT+8). Please do be patient with it if they don’t reply immediately but they are responsive during their working hours. There are 6 days for this deal so you will still be able to get your 18 months premium license if you don’t get it now.

Downloaded and launched the SecureA+Setup_SOS16a.exe setup file ok but then secureaplus installer doesn’t seem to be able to create setup file in my AppData folder once it completes download from internet. Reached 100% and then presents blank message window with close button on it!! Any standalone installers available?

Thank you so much for this free 18 month software! I was looking for a good antivirus program since mine was expiring. This could not have come at a better time and the reviews I read before installing were great! I, like others, had trouble putting in the code….but I uninstalled it and followed the instructions, which I must not have done the first time, and it worked perfectly.

    [@Dewitt Law]

After installing SecureAPlus, launch the app, click Info & License, the SecureAPlus ID is at the top of the page.

This is the device ID needednon their promo page to activate license.

    Hope this helps!

Try downloading the installer from their page. You have more options there to download an online installer or offline installer (with or without offline antivirus).

on their site no comparision what premium has above freemium ….
in verification and activation emails -from secureaplus -not sharewareonsale- there is no premium word at all ……

    Norton detected …

WS.Reputation.1 is a detection for files that have a low reputation score based on analyzing data from Symantec’s community of users and therefore are likely to be security risks. Detections of this type are based on Symantec’s reputation-based security technology. Because this detection is based on a reputation score, it does not represent a specific class of threat like adware or spyware, but instead applies to all threat categories.

On SecureAPlus website (www.secureaplus.com), if you scroll all the way down, there is a comparison table for Freemium and Premium. To check if you are on premium, simply log in your SecureAPlus Account. This can be access through their website (once logged in, you can check under My Devices. If you see a blue star, it means you are on premium) or by clicking “Info and Licenses” on their main console and then log in from there. If you are on premium, it will indicate 1 on premium.

Nice software, but Malwarebytes has reported that their definitions are being stolen by SecureAPlus. Is this true?

I had this program from another offer and loved it, but noticed that it hasn’t been running lately. When I tried to start it manually, I got this message:
    C:\Program Files\SecureAge\Whitelist\SecureAPlus.exe
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent harware of software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source.”

It looks like either SecureAPlus is flagging itself as bad, or something in Windows Vista doesn’t like it. No way to tell which. So I uninstalled it all with Revo, rebooted as the uninstaller requested. Deleted all related folders and old files. Then I ran the installer I got last night from SharewareOnSale. Same problem. No way to register since I can’t even get the program to run. Looks like I lost a good program, but I’ll try again while the offer is still available.

I hope others have better success, it really is a good approach for protection and takes few system resources to do its job.

it restarted my computer without my consent – I was out while it started full scan for the first time

It shows: You are fully Protected
    software update up to date
but Full system scan -was never done because:

connecting to Universal AV Scanner (=49.128.47.82 TCPView log shows as open and close x times)
error code: 12007 the server name or address could not be resolved
From log ### Failed: secureaplus.secureage.com/Referral/GetPremiumStatus.php. Error code: 12029. A connection with the server could not be established

please give me info if it needs any windows services enabled to function which I disabled -for security+performance reasons f.i. BITS…

also what ip and web address I should check in hosts plik or somewhere else ,
If it for work needs services in default + blank hosts file then I regret instalation…
