For those such as myself who have the registration code but no download to use it with, and for those who doubt the existence of a trial version, download the trial version from https://www.projects-software.com/color/photo-works-projects-3. The zip file will expand to versions for Windows and Mac. The registration code worked for me with the Windows version. I hope that helps someone.
