Just as with AIARTY’s recent givaway for IA enhancement, this one crashes to the desktop on my Win11 system while “getting inferences”.
Once again “invalid license code” this is the second time this has been offered with the same result.

I keep getting error code 401 when trying to register. Please give a fix for this.
I found in Windows 11 that I had to give the Aiarty Image Matting.exe file advanced permissions before it could access the image models. Before I did that, it would fail to load the image model. Once I did that, it works fine and did a great masking job on the test picture that I used. It was a difficult mask job, too, because the image is overexposed making the mask run into the subject in other masking software I tried.

When I first installed version 2.0 from a giveaway I found it impossible to download the AI models… I found the only way to download was to download the current version… was 2.5 at the time, install it over 2.0 and start the download of the AI models in that and then re-install the giveaway over 2.0 and from then onward the AI models could all be downloaded and everything worked as well as it does. It’s as if 2.0 fails to do a DNS lookup of the AI models server and 2.5 did so once the DNS value was cached by windows it all worked or maybe cloudfare or similar protection set a cookie with 2.5 that the re-install 2.0 then re-used. If all else fails give it a try… don’t forget the SOS license will only work with 2.0 not any upgrade so ignore the upgrade available notification in the top right title bar of the window if it’s there after you got it working.
[@henceg] Mac download is still 404 error here now, no one has acted on the report! Come on Ashraf tell someone that can do something about it!

Got fooled by obeying message that said “Click here to download the current version.” And, having done that, the program became un-registered. I then just got rid of the whole thing, don’t like to be fooled.

Further research shows my “Win11 Crash” is due to my graphics processor in my HP with Intel graphics. Setting processing in these apps to use CPU ONLY cures the crash for me. This setting is on the main screen, upper right side.[@pnj] Note that the license remains in your registry after uninstalling, if you download the OFFER installer again, and install, it will not even ask for the license info again, it just will work again. You’ll need the version that is in the offer, which is the prior version to the one you “upgraded” to, which is the only one on the company website. Also note that the offer here explicitly says no upgrades and that if you try, you lose the license. You were not fooled. You didn’t read.
