It is a Chinese company. BY LAW, they are required to give Chinese government access to their data.
    Just a point to consider.

Very useful if you have computers in different places and want to transfer files between them.

[ @Ashraf] you make the unsupportable claim:

“The Security Imperative: Unbreakable, End-to-End Protection via 256-Bit ECC Encryption.”

the vendor who has more imperative to extol the virtues of their chosen system chooses the more accurate statement:

“AnyViewer Pro is a comprehensive remote desktop connection software for Windows PCs and Windows Server with with end-to-end encryption via strong 256-Bit Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) algorithm.”

Note they say “strong” you say “unbreakable” I think you are just plain lying as no current encryption system is “unbreakable”. It may be unbreakable using your PC and know-how but it is not actually unbreakable by everyone with much more computing power and knowledge. Also there have been examples where ECC encryption has been implemented deliberately to include back doors into the algorithm for the NSA but there is no reason why Chinese companies would not be forced to do the same by their governments intelligence authorities.

[ @Ashraf] Perfect timing for the holidays!! Thank you to everyone involved in THIS giveaway…I got this about March last year, and it was FOR one year, so now it’s extended under my login/account until March of 2027.

[@TK] Theoretically YES anything is hackable, given enough time, or in the case of AI and quantum computing, it could be tomorrow literally when they break YOUR whatever it is…But in all the time I have used Anyviewer, I have not been hacked. My bank is set to 256 or whatever, I have not been hacked for banking either, some do and most (95%) do not get hacked.

    Click the small arrow

It is NOT necessary to press the arrow (which doesn ‘t exist), but you need to press the Ellipsis (…) and the line keep registration code will appear in the drop-down list.

[@STUART] if anyone was monitoring your anyview sessions via a back door into the ECC which has been done for the NSA on other products, so is doable for the Chinese government, you would not know if your sessions were hacked, defeating the encryption is to view data thought to be secure NOT to infect your PC. ECC even when implemented perfectly is not unbreakable rainbow attacks are entirely feasible but when they are deliberately designed to be compromised by the developers for their security services ECC encryption is a simply a bad algorithm design that can appear to function properly but be compromised by design and end users would not know if their sessions are secure or open for inspection by agencies in the know.

When AnyViewer was offered for free, I triedto register. However, they asked for a confirmation code which I didn’t have. Then they asked me for a verfification code which I don’t have either. The license code B2E7-0030-C18C-0E44 could not be endered, because registration was not possible.
